ABOUT CAPTAIN JACE TYLER
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Captain Jace is a Marine Corps veteran, fisherman, and true outdoorsman. After serving 5 years in the infantry and another 5 working with the private sectors with to many deployments to count, Capt. Jace decided to trade in his rifle for some fishing gear and now gets to enjoy doing what he loves every day on beautiful Clearwater beach. At 33 years old, he is a Florida native who grew up fishing local waters all around Clearwater. Capt. Jace has a passion for the water and loves sharing the knowledge and experience of local fisheries while enjoying a great day on the water.
ABOUT THE BOAT
You will be riding on a 24' Skeeter bay boat, built in 2022. The boat is powered by a Yamaha outboard 300 HP engine, with room for up to 4 anglers on board at any time for your fishing trip on Clearwater Beach. All trip times and pickup points can be adjusted to fit what best works for you
THE CHARTER EXPERIENCE
If you are looking to keep fish for dinner please discuss it with Capt Jace before booking. As this is mostly a catch and release charter. Capt. Jace can also split the trip between fishing and island hopping at the local intercoastal waterways. Nothing wrong with cooling off on a private island after fishing Clearwater all morning!
No fishing licenses required when fishing with Capt. Jace and he will have a cooler with cold water for every trip. Feel free to bring your own drinks and food onboard, just no bananas and no glass allowed.
Capt. Jace will make sure you have all the live bait and equipment needed for a great day of catching fish. If you’re an artificial angler, all baits and lures will be provided!

I took my mom and 2 daughters and captain Jace couldn’t have been more accommodating. I wasn’t sure if an evening or night trip would be better so after checking tides Cpt Jace recommended a little of both and we did a 6-10 trip. I really appreciate the flexibility and in the end it couldn’t have been better for our group. Mom got some good daylight and sunset pics, the girls got to see dolphins, and we hit a good variety of fishing spots from mangroves to dock lights. Everyone was happy and now I have to book another vaca so I can take my fiance who wasn't able to make this trip. Highly recommend Cpt Jace, great guy, and great Cpt.

EXCELLENT TRIP!
Took an afternoon trip with JT as that’s only what our schedule allowed. He put us on fish right away and kept us on them all afternoon! Super friendly and knowledgeable throughout the entire day answering any and all questions we had about all things fishing and general Clearwater/Dunedin things.

FANTASTIC OCTOBER FISHING!
Captain Jace put us onto fish immediately! The Snook bite was on in Clearwater. I’ve worked with hunting and fishing guides for 30 years and Captain Jace is professional, effective, safe and super fun to fish with. He made everything very easy and was extremely responsive. He is now my go-to guide on the Florida West Coast. You cannot go wrong with Captain Jace!! He’s one of the best I’ve ever had the pleasure to fish with!!
